Professional: Employee benefits consulting expertise for large and alternatively-funded employers, with special emphasis on technical, underwriting and financial aspects. Lead teams of underwriting consultants to deliver same.The underwriting/technical consultant teams I lead provide strategic financial analyses and technical services primarily in support of Gallagher's larger clients. Underwriting/technical consultants utilize various actuarial standards and other unique Gallagher analytic tools while partnering with the Gallagher Account Management teams and the client to understand each client’s business needs and goals. During strategic collaboration with the client, we explore how the plan is running (reporting), what’s driving the results (cost driver analytics) and where is it going (financial projections). Integrating these analyses and evaluations of alternatives through modelling and vendor negotiations, we provide our customers with high value sophisticated financial and strategic underwriting consultation for their Employee Benefits programs, in alignment with meeting their business goals. Other: Short term missionary projects including house-building, solar power and fresh water wells in Mexico, Haiti and Honduras.
