I’ve been part of the Sapcotes team for over 20 years heading up a variety of property matters across a £100 million portfolio. This has been as far ranging as industrial schemes near Heathrow to restaurants in Soho and mix use developments in Hammersmith. My skill is finding creative ways to add value. Before this I worked on a number of prestigious residential developments in London (Harrods, St Georges Wharf, Barnes Waterside) taking them overseas to Asia and Europe to sell to investor buyers. At Sapcotes we specialise in the conversion of unloved properties, transforming them into stimulating workspace communities especially for the creative industries. Many of our properties have a fascinating history, from an old perfume factory, to a BBC prop store. We’ve also dealt with the conversion of a number of listed schools to provide cutting edge loft style living, in some of London's most desirable areas. For me the key to what we do is that everything’s design driven. The effort you put in at the beginning will lead you to create something special, that stands out above the competition. I’m passionate about making our buildings exceptional. My role is to find and negotiate on the right properties - before anyone else does ! - and I’m happy to say we’ve an excellent record of doing so. I will then work with our teams of first class designers/architects to project manage the construction, to deliver the dream result. I’ve developed a first class network of agent contacts, which gives us an invaluable market insight and intelligence, which can be factored in to how we regenerate and market some of our properties. Of course with an attractive portfolio of properties, we’ve secured a great mix of tenants, from SMEs to well known names including Jojo Maman Bebe’s new HQ in Battersea along with Cineworld’s HQ in Chiswick.
