As a Federation they connect clinics and member associations in over 150 countries though their Central Office in London.Responsible for supporting staff in their use of IT equipment, including managing the loaning out of laptops and other IT equipment, repairing equipment, setting up new workstations, reorganising desks and other furniture within the office. Maintained a complete asset list of all laptops available to staff. Worked in partnership with the IT department and the Health and Safety Officer to replace broken equipment. Expertly handled recurring issues within the central office, including fire alarms and building evacuations, the annual PAT testing, air-conditioning faults, printer malfunctions.- Jack performed excellently under pressure when arranging and executing multiple office restructures.- Single-handedly reorganised the stock room to create space and to avoid damage from flooding – sorting documents into specific areas for each department. - Drove the smooth running of IPPF's global office through changing suppliers, and kept manuals up-to-date.- Volunteered to provide IT support as his passion for IT increased.- Instinctively created several helpful guides for colleagues as well as visitors to the office.- Professional, relaxed and experienced when it comes to handling a diverse range of callers, visitors, couriers, various deliveries, engineers, and tradesmen.- Received training in the technical workings of printers, qualified as a fire warden, and has obtained a manual handling certificate.With highly valued and diverse responsibilities, Jack became one of the few people in the building that knew everyone.
