Consultant for banking operational processes

Responsible of optimising raw materials supply chain, from suppliers to end customer, involving hazardous substances transport, logistic activities (picking and handling) in local and international operations, deepening local regulations of explosives for mining.• Developed trucks tracking project from origin to destination, through an On Time Delivery daily record to different plants and locations of Company. I also coordinated international cargo reception of raw materials with Custom Agency, port logistic operators, sea freight companies and local transports, following local regulations. In addition, I added whatsapp usage from part of transporters , in order to measure punctuality, demurrage, and capacity of plants to load and unload raw materials.• Negotiated costs improvements with chemical suppliers and optimised stocks, without altering service level.• Due to replacement of 2 raw materials (chemical products) for 1, I proposed and implemented an IBCs re-usage, which was about controlling and reverse logistic of them that I assessed through a yearly cash flow versus as is situation, by proposing different scenarios and paybacks, from purchasing new IBCs and certified cleaning of them. As a result, I diminished yearly cost in about USD 70,000.

Outplacement activities.

Responsible of leading production planning for 2 explosive plants in Brazil and Chile, with a team of 2 Schedulers and 2 Raw Material Analysts, under my supervision. Lead and manage team of 5 demand planners from Mexico, Peru, Brazil and Chile.- Due to repetitive changes in the production planning, I led and implemented a production programme model for Latin America, by extending 2 frozen weeks cycle in different plants, which increased production plan efficiency and optimized raw materials inventories.. Because of advantages, in profit terms, which imply a non electric detonator, where normally main focus is on amonium nitrate, I led and implemented a planning model for those detonators, and I achieved a higher efficiency and stability of productive plants, raw materials inventories and a commercial and operational plans improvement.- Due to my knowledge of Initiating Systems, I was assigned temporary as an internal consultant in central global S&OP, carried out in Germany and Singapore, achieving its implementation in Latin America, during 2011, which I was the main implementer.

Responsible of leading S&OP proccess, issuing and controlling monthly and anual sale targets, auditing resources and flows of expenses in compliance of US law: Sarbanes and Oxley; and leading invoicing department.- Led and developed demand planning process (S&OP), by coordinating commercial, marketing and supply chain areas, and encouraging an intensive participation through inputs delivery for discussion and consensus by every areas, which implied a more effective, efficient and collaborative proccess.- Led invoicing area with 2 reporting people. I reached the highest leadership evaluation by achieving a high level of motivation and integration of my team, in fiscal year 2007 (June 2006-July 2007).

Responsible of supply and demand of 3 product families (household appliances, batteries and shavers).- Added sell out statistics analysis, by working directly with commercial, in order to understand nature of distributors and customers sales, which made an inventory turnover improvement of household appliances from 73 to 41 days, and batteries from 41 to 25 days. - Contributed to making of environmental rules related to batteries disposal, representing the company before the authority.
