Responsibility for the development and support of BBC enterprise wide Finance, Procurement, HR and Scheduling systems. Current focus is on implementation of a range of improvement projects alongside the development of a road map for the future of BBC ERP systems.

Author of report into the impact of disability on opportunities for career progression at the BBC

Accountable for the delivery and business change aspects of an Identity and Access Management Programme to put in place a framework for the management of electronic identities, enabling BBC staff to access the digital resources they need.

Reporting to the Director General and the Executive Audit Committee, I led the Business Assurance function which included internal audit, risk management and the BBC investigation service. I personally delivered work to respond to a range of significant issues including child protection, bullying & harassment, severance payments and freelancer tax status

Establishment of new function covering range of compliance and regulatory activity:- Technical Accounting incl project management of conversion to IFRS- Annual Report & Accounts incl account management of external auditors- Monitoring of efficiency programme to deliver public sector savings targets

Executive responsibility for successful establishment of new shared service finance centre providing finance and accounting services to all BBC public service operational divisions.

Executive control over group’s shared service accounting centre and financial control of all shared services.• Delivery of regular/significant cost savings through restructuring and process improvement• Delivery of new finance systems/processes • Successful completion of group millennium compliance programme• Executive responsibility for project to dispose of brands to management buy-out, including establishment and management of ongoing services for distribution/finance/IT• Direction of project to introduce euro notes and coins into all stores in first wave countries

Executive control of all retail and administrative systems and establishment of overall IT strategy for group. Successful roll out of point of sale system for all 1,500 retail outlets.
