Machine Learning with External Data. Covariance delivers previously-impossible insights by combining our breakthroughs in machine learning with external data. We deliver a 360° view into any public or private company — as if you’re the CEO. Building on our MIT research, we are pioneers in data-efficient learning. Our patent-pending platform pushes the bounds of insights that machine learning can deliver when limited ground truth exists.

The MIT Quest advances natural intelligence through tightly coupled scientific inquiry and rigorous engineering to address real-world problems that are beyond current machine capabilities. This vision is executed through interdisciplinary research teams. I served as the technical lead of the engineering team responsible for fulfilling these missions. We developed and deployed a variety of systems across MIT research labs, including an image segmentation system for carbon-fiber laminate tomographic scans and a reinforcement learning based optimization system for nuclear reactor core design. Additionally, I led a R&D across five MIT research groups to forecast COVID-19 outcomes and hotspots for MIT as research and education reopened; productionized portions of the work for MIT's Covid-19 Response System (https://covid-19.mit.edu/mit-covid-19-response-system-mcrs-faq), used by MIT's senior administration throughout the pandemic.

2018 Fellow and 2019 AI Advisor. The 2018 and 2019 programs were focused on the ethics and governance of artificial intelligence.2020 Fellow which supported and continued the work from the previous Fellowship.
