Since leaving IBM in 2013 I have been an investor, advisor, or founder of multiple startups with a particular interest in fintech. My current projects include:► Founder, Ruvix (2017 - present) - Ruvix is a financial advisory service. I led a development team to build financial planning software using Ruby on Rails and AngularJS with a microservices architecture, all hosted on AWS. I also managed digital marketing efforts, leveraging PPC, SEO, and growth hacking strategies. I built our pitch deck and raised $200K to finance project, including funding from LATAM VCs Corfo and NTXP Labs.► Founder, Wisegrowth (2017 - present) - WiseGrowth invented a device to monitor and control grown conditions in greenhouses. I lead technology development including use of AWS, 3D printing, and IoT technologies. We have secured $80K in funding from LATAM VC Corfo and received multiple awards.► Advisor/Angel Investor, Finiciero (2013 - present) - Finiciero is a prepaid credit card company. I helped them raise $400K in public and private financing including funding from LATAM VCs Corfo and NTXP Labs.During this time I have also provided technical consultation to large banking clients.

I started with IBM Chile as a Software Services Specialist (2007 - 08) and grew to Technical Sales Specialist role (2008 - 11) before my final promotion to Solution Architect. As a Solution Architect I served as a subject matter expert and advisor on 20+ multi-million dollar implementation projects for IBM Cloud and Service Management products at many of the largest financial services and telecom companies in South America. I led client meetings to develop understanding of organization, industry, business model, processes, and challenges.I led the design of data center optimization solutions using a portfolio of over 300 IBM products including cloud and monitoring tools, aligning solutions to client’s IT environment and articulating the business value of solution designs. I also led IT Specialist teams to deliver solution proof points and negotiate scope. As a Sales Specialist I supported sales of the Data Center Optimization portfolio across South America, including pilots and proof of concepts, and delivering product demos and technical content to clients and partners. As a Software Services Specialist I served as tech lead on SOA implementations providing guidance on architecture and best practices.

I began my career with IBM in Venezuela as a Technical Sales Specialist supporting the Data Center Optimization portfolio.
