Flotilla Vice Flotilla Commander & Qualified Marine Safety and Security/Incident Management Officer who augments U.S. Coast Guard Port Security and Safety inspection teams at the Port of Baltimore. Analyzed private sector anti-terrorism technologies to assess their qualification for liability protection under the SAFETY Act of 2002 – one of the top five program within DHS. Work with the NFL and other professional sports organizations to review security programs and protocols for their teams and stadiums. In 2018, the SAFETY Act Office was the recipient of the DHS Secretary’s Award for Excellence and the 2019 DHS S&T Under Secretary’s Award.
