In January 2017 has been nominated International Team Coordinator for Industrial Manufacturing EBRD projects; after five years working with EBRD as Senior Industrial Advisor position.Advice for Small Businesses (ASB) is a critical component of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) strategy towards developing and financing SME’s in its countries of operations. Its work involves delivering advice across a range of companies operating in different sectors as well as increasingly targeting priority sectors that bring together the full range of the Bank’s offer in terms of financing and advise.ASB helps small and medium-sized businesses to grow and become genuine catalysts for their local economies by providing access to local and international experts. Some clients will benefit from investment, but ASB also strives to create healthier, more innovative and successful businesses.The objective of International Advisory projects is to bring in international best practices that range across four categories (organisation and management, operations, sales and marketing, and finance, to help companies grow and are increasingly being delivered by a team with sectorial expertise.Currently I'm supervising around 15 on going projects per year, all of them into the Industrial Manufacturing activities like: Heavy Sized Metal Parts, Elevators/Escalators, Rubber Goods, Welding Materials, Water Pumps, Bus frames, Tractors assembly, Lighting units, Roofing Systems, White Line products, between others. That means visiting almost weekly several countries of EBRD operation following and organising these projects: Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Georgia, Romania, Moldova, Morocco, Siria, Lebanon or Egypt between others.

The EBRD invests only in projects that could not otherwise attract financing on similar terms.My job now into into the EBRD is as SIA (Senior Industrial Adviser) for medium and small business and my role is to identify, plan and coordinate different actions or interventions into different companies on site, intended to improve the global quality production processes, introduce international standards and also procedures to market introduction; which are usually financed by the bank itself.That includes local managers coaching and also definition of new methodologies or productivity and quality audits. For that reason, my tasks is basically developed on the ground "on site" into these companies on a different industrial sectors in a different countries.Currently involved in several projects for industrial development in the field for different companies in North Africa countries and Eastern Europe.Some of the projects that was engaged as a Industrial Senior Advisor (SIA): BORGES (Sfax, Tunisia); food and olive oil sector, PET & glass bottling plant.
