Tech Lead for JFACC Afloat at Spawar System Center, San Diego, integrating CTAPS into the NTCS-A/JMCIS environment from 1994-2001. Worked closely with Loral/Lockheed Martin in the development of TBMCS from 1995-2001, ensuring a single source tree for the HPUX and SunOS releases.Built HP-Ignite (Quickload) TBMCS images for the HPUNIX release of TBMCS and automated the re-configuration to allow a complete TBMCS installation onboard ship to be completed in 2 days, reducing installation time from 300 man-hours to 16 man-hours.Lead Engineer on ESC sponsored project to rewrite CTAPS to be Y2K compliant and released new version in 1999. CTAPS consisted of over 4 million lines of C code. Integrated the TBMCS targeting application (JTT) into CTAPS to enable use of MIDB for intelligence/targeting data. Developed installation process for this release that allowed for an on-line upgrade of CTAPS with only 4 hours downtime.Built development environment for Marine Corps specific applications for MAGTF/C4I System Baseline (MSBL), Re-compiled and integrated these applications to form the initial release of MSBL, which was based on JMCIS.Provided Installation support and training for CTAPS and GCCSM on 7 US Navy Aircraft Carriers, 4 Amphibious Command Ships and 4 Fleet Command Ships.
