I have a strong foundation in the health sciences with masters level training in occupational therapy. My focus is in enabling people of all abilities engage in meaningful occupations by combining creative problem solving with scientific evidence to yield solutions that are client-centred and effective. I'm a self-initiated individual who is passionate about improving the health of communities through an "upstream" community development approach; advocating for the use of interprofessional healthcare teams to improve the access and quality of health services; and using social media to promote the diverse applications of occupational therapy.
