About Jason Montgomery

Jason is an entrepreneur with almost 30 years of combined systems, software and cybersecurity engineering experience. He co-founded and served as CTO at two ML/AI Ohio startups Nexosis (acquired by DataRobot in 2018) and Mantium, a Generative AI Security-focused company. Prior to Mantium, he was VP of Enterprise Security and Product Security at DataRobot. Earlier in his career, Jason was a Security Researcher at Veracode and a cybersecurity engineer at American Electric Power helping secure the smart grid. Over his career he has worked with Fortune 500s, startups, government agencies, including the Department of Defense, focusing on system hardening and application security. He contributed to the GIAC Secure Software Programmer Steering Committee, authored security chapters for a Wiley publication in 2009, developed and taught secure coding courses for the SANS Institute and holds two patents in the AI space.
