Jonathan is the Managing Director for Research & Partnerships at RiskLab: University of Toronto, and a PhD Candidate for Mathematics at the University of Toronto. His research now focuses primarily on mathematical analysis, finance, and machine learning, but still maintains a research interest in economics and statistics. Jonathan's academic accolades include being the only student to ever complete a full undergraduate degree from UofT in under 2 years (triple undergraduate degree with honours), a Master's degree in mathematics in under one, and beginning his PhD shortly after turning 20 years old. Further, Jonathan’s professional experience includes working on the trading floor of the world’s largest relative value hedge fund, and jointly-running UofT’s largest quantitative finance research lab.
