◦ Dataset Build and Analysis: Built high-quality datasets of solar events between 2010 and2017 from NASA space observations. The datasets combine CME events and particle flux timeseries (high energy electrons and protons). The dataset was split into training, andtesting using stratified sampling to preserve similar data distribution for both splits.◦ Objective and Architecture modeling: Designed architectures and training objectives forforecasting future solar energetic particle (SEP) events, their intensities, andcategories, for the safety of lives and equipments in space. Due to the extreme imbalancepresent in forecasting ultra-rare events like SEPs, the solutions had to be robust toimbalance while maintaining high accuracy.◦ Literature Review: Read and reviewed 100+ papers in the field of time series forecasting,data imbalance, sample-efficient modeling, and astrophysics.

ACAS-X:Developed internal tools and software for the next-generation Airborne Collision Avoidance System (ACAS-X), designed for aviation applications with strict safety requirements. Built testing frameworks to validate collision avoidance algorithms, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards like DO-178C and DO-254 for software and hardware safety certification.COMAC (C919):Completed Run For Score test procedures for SOI4 approval on the C919 aircraft, adhering to aviation safety standards like ARP4754A and DO-160. Wrote and executed verification test procedures for the transponder in Javascript, ensuring the system met regulatory and safety compliance required for final aircraft certification.TPR-2500:Wrote and reviewed software requirements for the TPR-2500 transponder using Jama, following DO-178C safety standards. Collaborated with teams post-acquisition to align with Raytheon’s stringent aviation requirements, ensuring precise, traceable requirements for compliance and performance in critical aircraft communication systems.

Developed a data gathering and visualization web application for the Ocean Research and Conservation Association (ORCA), using Node.js, MongoDB, and Mapbox to track and display critical water quality data for the Indian River Lagoon. The application was designed to support ORCA’s mission by providing real-time, scientifically accurate data on water quality and its impact on local aquatic ecosystems. The web app also played a key role in ORCA’s educational initiatives, making complex environmental data easily accessible to the public, decision makers, and students.To enhance user experience, I implemented Google's Material Design UI guidelines, ensuring a modern, intuitive, and responsive interface across devices. This user-friendly design improved accessibility, supporting ORCA’s efforts to engage communities in marine conservation through science, education, and advocacy.

I led the development of an advanced simulation platform using Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) and C++ to model and test various unmanned vehicles, including UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and UGVs (Unmanned Ground Vehicles). The software was optimized to run on low-powered Android devices, overcoming significant technical challenges related to performance, resource management, and battery efficiency. This allowed the system to simulate different operational modes accurately while maintaining seamless integration with the company’s proprietary controller.In parallel, I developed a proprietary communication protocol on top of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to facilitate reliable, low-latency data transfer between Android devices and embedded systems (ESP32) present in various controllers. This custom solution ensured secure, real-time communication tailored to our hardware requirements.I also played a key role in preparing high-impact product demonstrations for investors, where I highlighted the platform's technical prowess and commercial potential. These efforts were instrumental in driving investor interest, ultimately contributing to the company’s acquisition for $120 million.
