As the Chief Financial Officer of Mazuma Credit Union, I have the opportunity to help guide the strategic direction of a $900 million and growing credit union in Kansas City. I currently oversee the accounting, finance, risk management, facilities and wealth management teams and specialize in using data analytics to drive business decisions and action. As CFO, I am privileged to manage the credit union's asset-liability position, which included an investment portfolio of over $125 million in assets. In my role as the CFO, I have the opportunity to develop several new leaders and teams to support the credit union's mission: to make Kansas City a better place to live, work, and bank.

As a continuation of my work with Mazuma Credit Union as the Senior Financial Analyst I have taken on a role which is more directed to strategic leadership within the Credit Union. My primary focus has been on improving processes and creating efficiencies with respect to financial reporting, operations management and lending. With respect to these disciplines I have worked on staffing efficiency, risk and return modeling and policy development.

• Reviewed, maintained and updated Profitstar/Profitability financial analysis software and developed various monthly financial reports. Attended Profitstar users' conference 2007 & 2009.• Chairman of the Asset Liability Committee in the absence of the CFO, and have created a complete reporting package to be used during monthly meetings.• Developed and produced monthly progress and profitability reports on CD's, loans, credit cards and money market accounts.• Conducted a Core Deposit Study on the liability structure of the credit union and proposed fiscal policy changes to incorporate those findings and improve profitability of the organization.• Developed and maintained organizational profitability by department and branch to better assist with forecasting and making executive decisions. Also conducted two presentations to educate managers, executive team and board members of the advantages of organizational profitability.• Assistant project lead for new Budget Manager Software deployment and Lead educator for software. Also assisted with development of branch and department budgets for 2008 and integrating them into a whole corporate budget.• Reviewed current products and conducted a monthly product profitability analysis of each product based on inputs and overhead costs associated with each product to allow better decision making when marketing particular products.• Developed and implemented a new Certificate of Deposit Empowerment model and trained over 30% of staff on how to use the model within Symitar.

Monumental Financial Partners (MFP) is a General Partnership that was formed in early 2011. The goal of MFP is to provide investment education while having each partner vested in the growth of both knowledge and capital through sound and strategic investments.My role as the President and founding member has allowed me the opportunity to create and develop a business in my own vision that is dedicated to improving investor education while providing a support network of like minded individuals which are all tied to a common goal, the appreciation of capital.As the initial President, I was responsible for the creation of the business and the recruitment of all of the partners in our first two years. I have been able to recruit key individuals with stong skills and knowledge with respect to the capital market structure, industry experts as well as individuals simply wanting to learn how and why to invest.I am now serving in my second term as President and have continued to focus on recruiting new partners as well as providing quality opportunities to the partnership.

As Vice President of Monumental Financial Partners, my responsibilities included managing our investment portfolio and quarterly completing a comprehensive review of all securities. In addition, I was responsible for developing training for new partners and assisted with the onboarding of new members.

• Conducted a Break-Even analysis of Remote Deposit, Sweep and Lock box products with the marginal impacts upon customers and the bank.• Conducted a Cost of Funds Analysis for demand deposit products, CD's, money market products and individual clients.• Provided recommendations for commercial business checking products and money market tier structure.• Created a cost benefit model for commercial business checking products.• Developed a model for assessing CD rates and premiums based on customer relationship with the bank.D• esigned a 3 year forecast for retirement center branches, lock box and remote deposit products including return on assets and return on investment analysis.
