Machines Maintain – Approx 50 Machines total, 25 Linux Machines, 15 Solaris Machines, 10 Linux RLX Blades. RLX Blades – Blades were installed with RHEL 3 update 3 AS & ES as well as installed GFS 6.0 and ORACLE 10G. Blades were connected to dual 2 Gig multi-Pathing Fiber SAN Storage. In charge of administering as well as training employees on the RLX blades. Linux – Worked with many flavors of Linux, including SuSE 9.1, RHEL 3, RHEL 4, and Debian 3.0.Solaris – Worked with many versions of Solaris as well as many types of Sun Hardware, maintained, administered and patched machines. Troubleshot different problems with Sun Equipment, found bad components and called Sun and organized outages for replacement of equipment. Also, made sure all Sun Equipment had matching EEPROM versions.
