Former experienced automotive technician currently pursing my B.S in Network Operations and Security. I previously attended Rockland Community College and earned my A.A.S in Automotive Technology, graduating as an inaugural member of the school's Ford ASSET program. From there, I attended Shoreline Community College in Shoreline, WA and completed the TESLA START internship program. After relocating to Texas after the completion of the program and servicing the Dallas-Fort Worth area as a mobile service technician for a year, I decided to seek other opportunities in South Carolina due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After almost 6 years in the automotive industry, I made the decision to pivot to the IT industry and pursue further education through Western Governors University in order to provide a better life for myself. While my work experience in the IT is limited, I believe that the diagnostic processes and problem-solving skills I've developed from working in the fast paced automotive industry combined with my hands-on technical abilities will allow me to successfully transition to this new and ever-changing field.
