Led the HP.com and Digital Strategy Capabilities team responsible for delivering a new world-class HP.com by bringing extraordinary designs to life through the development of enabling functionality on best in class technology platforms. The Capabilities team also led research and investigation into emerging web technologies to shape future generation HP.com capabilities. Leveraging Agile development practices to rapidly deliver and evolve new site capabilities, this team also drove the transition of legacy IT platforms to the new HP.com while managing the lifecycle of go-forward legacy capabilities.

Directed team responsible for the global capabilities and services that power HP.com. This included driving the future capabilities strategy, management, and day to day operations of customer facing and back end systems and services to achieve excellence in HP’s online presence. Capabilities in this area were Identity Management and Registration services, User Interactive Services, Information Access Services, Publishing, and Content Management capabilities.

Established a post-merger team chartered with providing platform and publishing services management for HP.com. Worldwide scope included: publishing platforms and tools, search solutions, single sign-on, online security, country gateway management (worldwide home pages), contact HP, inbound email routing, standards compliance, and publishing/helpdesk.

Accountable for all corporate intranet web properties supporting Employee Communications, HR, Sales, Marketing, and IT. Drove efforts to integrate three legacy employee web infrastructures (Compaq, Tandem, and Digital) and to establish Compaq’s employee web as a “best in class” Intranet site. Completed tops-down redesign and restructure of information architecture, standards, publishing operations, corporate governance, and key enabling applications.

Responsible for development, construction, presentation, and management of business plans, roadmaps, strategies, and project management practices for the Business Applications Business Unit. Ensured alignment with key stakeholders and cross-business unit dependencies were managed.

Enabled the sales process for select large opportunities by performing pre-sales project management functions required to accomplish unique solutions for major accounts. Solutions required “out of the box” thinking and innovation typically going well beyond what was considered standard business models.
