Continued supervision of undergraduate developers, site development and maintenance for the ChemEd DL, and facilitated the transition of the ChemEd DL from UW-Madison to the American Chemical Society (ACS).

PhD student under the joint direction of James Skinner and John Moore. Working to complete a thesis in both Theoretical Chemistry and Chemical Education.My projects involve simulation of IR spectroscopy of heterogeneous condensed phase systems. My work focuses on the CD3z and M2 Proton channel transmembrane proteins. This work has concluded and I am now working with the National Science Digital Library (NSDL) project, within the Chemistry Education Digital Library (ChemEd DL) Pathway. I am designing, building and testing the efficacy of a student portal as a textbook substitute. In lay terms, I built an online textbook and am now doing research into its effectiveness as a substitute in a real classroom. Experience teaching: Chem 115-116, Advanced calculus-based general chemistry (credit for analytical upon completion). Over 10 contact hours per week for one section.Chem 104: basic second semester general chemistry.Chem 109H: condensed general chemistry - single semester course. I was senior TA for the Honors section.

Instructor of General Chemistry I & II (with labs), College Algebra, Pre-Algebra, Discrete Mathematics for Computer Science.Developed all coursework, wrote a complete lab manual (based off of Hope College's), Created new computational laboratory.

TA for Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, and taught science for home school class (K-2nd). Founded the General Chemistry tutoring sessions still in place, along with paid tutoring positions through the department. Research assistant in the lab of Dr. Brent Krueger doing MD parameter development, quantum calculations of potential energy surfaces, and silicon polymer dynamics modeling. RA of a dorm, a house, and became a Student Resident Director of an apartment complex in my final year.
