I was fortunate to find my passion early in my career. As a natural-born leader with a talent for design, color, style, and creative flair, with a love for the great outdoors, it was only natural that I would gravitate to the Rocky Mountain resort areas of Colorado to pursue my dreams.In 2007, I accepted the challenge of Retail Manager at Specialty Sports Venture in Breckenridge, where I established a customer-centric culture with the team members, boosting their development through individualized support and motivation, inspiring top performance and creating an exceptional customer service environment. In 2009, I became the regional Retail Replenishment Coordinator, where I was able to exhibit my visual merchandising talents, identifying and addressing enhanced merchandising strategies and visual impact by using creative display techniques and solid inventory management.In 2012, a move to Olympia, WA led me to the JC Penney franchise as their Visual Merchandising Specialist, where I continued to develop my skills, creating innovative window and in-store displays and special promotional displays to optimize the store's visual effects and increase customer traffic.My love for the Colorado Rockies beckoned once again in 2015. I accepted the Retail Replenishment Coordinator position for Vail Resorts Retail's Summit County establishments, enterprising the creation and management of their regional merchandise selections in cooperation with their mountain operations teams, buyers, regional and store managers.In 2018, I was singled out by my superiors for promotion to the Retail Manager position at one of Vail Resort's premier store locations in Breckenridge. Establishing a solid team became most beneficial in 2020 when the pandemic forced a four month shutdown. Despite that, our determined efforts were rewarded with a 4% sales increase for the year.After a brief stay at Jax Mercantile Co. Outdoor Gear Farm and Ranch as the Department Manager of Apparel, I have once again found a wonderful home in May 2022 at Avalanche Harley Davidson in Golden as the MotorClothes/Merchandise Manager, where I'm able to not only demonstrate my merchandising expertise, but also expand on my procurement skills.
