Completed annual instrument evaluations for co-pilots, pilot in command and instructor pilots in accordance with publications and regulations. Managed a $13.6 million annual flight hour program. Developed a budget, set quarterly goals, published a plan and presented it to supervisor. Wrote and managed battalion flight schedule by receiving guidance from BN commander, coordinated with Maintenance Company for aircraft status, and S-3 (operations) for pilot availability. Plan was implemented resulting in the effective training of 60 pilots and utilization of 24 aircraft in the most efficient manner possible. Developed and maintained a robust no-notice evaluation program.

S-2, responsible for all security clearances, physical security, COMSEC for over 500 members of the unit, 13 small boat stations, a USCG Cutter, air facility and USCG air station. Search and rescue coordinator and pilot in command at busy Pacific Northwest air station. Fly off shore and conduct in-land search and rescue missions in all weather and mission profiles.
