Helped it achieve several world and North American "firsts" in waste reduction and recycling. Inducted into Pulp & Paper Canada's Hall of Fame (February 2023). Represented the paper industry on Canada's National Task Force on Packaging (1991-2000) and was a Director of both the Recycling Council of Ontario (for 10 years) and the former Waste Diversion Ontario.
