Undertake contract work for individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Recent freelance clients and collaborators include the Yale School of Management, Vanderbilt’s Peabody College, Bohan Advertising, Nashville Public Television, Fivestone Studios, and independent photographers and architects.

Nashville

Taught a three-semester sequence emphasizing a hands-on approach to web design. The students started with the fundamentals of standards-based markup and gradually took on advanced CSS, responsive design, jQuery, PHP, and Wordpress templating.

Worked with a small team of designers, programmers, and animators on a variety of projects in print, interactive, digital signage, and motion graphics.

Participated in weekly critiques and provided research support for students in Advanced Graphic Design, a studio class focused on the history of design.

Developed concepts for exhibition graphics, gallery brochures, and art catalogs.

Redesigned lobby signage. Designed event postcards, exhibition posters, and companion book for the exhibition "Benjamin West and the Venetian Secret."

Worked with studio partners on concepts for Human Rights Campaign’s annual report and a book on Architecture Research Office’s work at Colorado College. Drew maps and diagrams for a book exhibiting the work of a collaborative studio at Yale’s School of Architecture.

Designed informational and promotional print materials, including brochures, postcards, a 100-page course catalog, and spreads of feature articles for CPA Journal magazine. Coordinated production of jobs for an on-site printing press and for outside vendors.

Designed marketing and development materials, including newsletters, newspaper advertisements, program inserts, and Kimmel Center posters. Developed project management skills through bidding and proofing of print jobs.
