Administer Blackboard Course Management System used by entire student body and faculty across campus (3500+ users)Serve as DBA for Oracle 10g used by Blackboard CMS and Odyssey PCS. I am responsible for maintaining and backing up the database as well as performing database migration as new version of the database is released by Blackboard and CBORD Odyssey. Manage 50+ servers in heterogeneous environment: Sun Fire 280R, Sun Ultra 80, Sun Ultra 60, Sun Fire V240, Sun Fire T2000, Sun Fire T5000, Windows 2003 (Commodity Boxes), and Red Hat Linux ES 4 NAS servers. I am responsible for maintaining patches and updates on all servers, backups to tape and other storage mediums, migrations of services to new platforms, answer support calls from end users across campus.ERP Systems Administrator: I am responsible for the setup and maintenance of our new ERP hardware based on Sun Fire T2000's and Red Hat (Commodity Box) application servers for our new ERP environment migrating away from HP-UX 11i on L2000's with Informix Database. I am also responsible for the technical aspects of planning and implementing updates and hardware migration regarding ERP systems.EMC Xtender Administrator: I configure, install, update and maintain the EMC Application Xtender imaging solution which interfaces with our ERP system used by all departments requiring access to image documents for online archiving.Develop a web based resource management system used by Academic Technology Services using Apache, PHP/JavaScript and MySQL.

Teach a computer proficiencies course to incoming freshmen as required by the university. These students must take an exit exam at the end of the module using the web based testing system that I developed. The course is focused on teaching the fundamentals of computers and computer information. Students are also taught how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Administered Engineering Research Lab using a NIS+ environment consisting of 20+ Sun Workstations: Sun Workstation 10, Ultra 1, Ultra 5, Ultra 10, Ultra 20, Ultra 60, Sun Blade 100/150, and Sun Fire V100. I was in charge of creating and maintaining user accounts, installing and updating software packages used in the lab such as Matlab. Redesign and maintain the Engineering Website hosted on Sun Fire V100 using Apache 2.0 web server. Dynamic content was created using PHP and JavaScript.Configured and installed a 32 node Beowulf cluster using Pentium 100 machines.Configured and installed a 10 system Windows 2000 Domain box for non-UNIX users.Backed up NIS+ tables and files to tape nightly.
