I have a broad international experience in urban mobility studies and traffic engineering. I've studied civil engineering and specialised myself in traffic engineering and policy development. I was project manager of the Riga and Pieriga mobility plan which is considered as one of the first Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP’s) in Eastern Europe. More recently I've worked on several cycle highway design projects in the Netherlands, mostly on stakeholder management and leading the design team. I'm a frequent speaker at active mobility conferences or trainings sharing the Dutch cycling inclusive planning and design approach, e.g. in Riga, Tartu, Singapore and Malaysia. One of my key-expertises is to combine strategic stakeholder involvement with my thorough understanding of (cycling inclusive) planning in cities. Having worked in many countries around the world I'm able to share experience gained elsewhere and not strictly exporting Dutch and Danish cycling expertise alone. I combine my expert role with international business development for the built environment business line and heading our operations in the United Kingdom.Countries I've worked in are amongst others: The Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom, Latvia, Indonesia, Benin, Mozambique, Singapore, Malaysia and Kazachstan
