Received numerous promotions during 15 year tenure at NLG (acquired by World Travel Holdings), one of the nation’s largest distributors of leisure travel. The company markets directly to consumers through its own brands including Cruises Only, Cruises.com and Vacation Outlet as well as through private-label partnerships with leading companies including Priceline, Orbitz, Kayak, BJ's Wholesale, US Airways, Delta, American, JetBlue & others.As SVP, Marketing & Partner Brands I was responsible for all consumer marketing activities, a portfolio of 20+ private label partner brands and all new business development. I also oversaw supplier relationships and annual contract negotiations. • Managed $20 million consumer marketing budget consisting of SEM, online advertising, email, affiliate, print, radio and direct mail.• Launched new Cruises.com brand. Developed brand strategy, marketing plan and website. Grew first year sales to over $25M.• Conducted in-depth customer discovery and segmentation project. Developed and implemented targeted email strategy to drive repeat bookings and maximize revenue per sale. • Directed in-house “online agency” of web designers, html developers, copy writers and product marketing specialists providing web design, online merchandising and email services for all brands. • Managed $170 million private-label partner brands business. Led a team of account managers, created growth plans for each partner and grew partner sales by over 20% per year.• Led cross functional team in prioritizing, designing and launching new website features and functionality to enhance the UX and maximize conversion rates.• Launched new partnerships with Delta, JetBlue, Kayak, Hilton and Starwood and renewed key contracts with Priceline, Hotwire, American and Continental.
