Technical Training Instructor

Responsible for all facets of RQ7B Shadow UAV operations at GOCO 3 in Afghanistan, managing up to 16 operators and 14 maintainers in a “24-7” high ops tempo, environment. Helps the Site Lead in creating Standard Operating Procedures, manage vacation schedules, and maintain the site improvement plan. Also maintains training folders and tracks personnel’s flight times, utilizing Excel spreadsheets. Ensures newly assigned personnel have billets and assigns shifts as necessary. Communicates with the Site Lead to solve problems and coordinate solutions for the site and its employees. Also acts as Site Lead when they are absent, by communicating with the company for the employees, and talking with the employees about company policies. Coordinates with the customer for: support for the site, employees travel and well-being, and also supplies as necessary.
F-22 Lo/Crf
Responsible for directly coordinating maintenance actions with Air Force customers as a 7- level. Removed F-22 Low Observable (LO) coatings and panels for maintenance personnel requiring access to components underneath. After maintenance is complete, restored panels to full up LO condition. Requires painting and sanding of aircraft epoxies. Repairs and inspects aircraft structures/ composites in accordance with Air Force Technical Data. Modifies aircraft structures utilizing engineering dispositions and drawings. Repairs hydraulic/ oil lines using Duetchlite fittings and hardware. After maintenance is complete, updates aircraft forms and records in the Air Force IMIS system. Inspects completed work for correctness/ airworthiness and signs off applicable red X’s.
F-15 Crew Chief/ Instructor
Responsible for the development and mentoring of the students in their academics as well as their knowledge of aircraft systems, and components. Taught ALL aspects of aircraft maintenance to include: Reading Air Force Technical manuals and schematics. Removing and replacing aircraft hydraulic components, pnuedraulic components, secondary power, engines, and flight controls. Instructed how to inspect aircraft for anomalies. Responsible for all aspects of aircraft operation to include launch and recovery, servicing of all components, removing and replacing faulty equipment (secondary power, hydraulics, engines, actuators and accumulators). Troubleshoots using Air Force technical drawings and schematics. Performs aircraft inspections post flight and documents any anomalies in aircraft forms. Tow super qualified and qualified to inspect Intakes and Exhaust.
