I've had unique experiences in administration, university support, distance learning, media production and teaching. I've administered three departments, directed an IT department during a total network and server plant remediation, overseen the deployment of VOIP phones, created and managed a H.323 distance classroom, directed federal grants, created and modified two television studios, created and supported numerous technology enriched learning environments, created a media convergence lab and taught courses giving college students technology and digital media production skills at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In the spring of 1998, I was the first professor in the the University System of Georgia to video stream content for an online course. Since that first online course, I've had experience creating and supporting media rich internet delivered curriculum for stand-alone, blended and traditional courses that use online course support. I'm currently Teaching at Q.I. Roberts Jr. Sr. High School, the Cambridge Academy for Putnam County. I'm teaching Computer Applications, Creative Writing, Critical Thinking and Aeronautics; loving every minute of it....Specialties: I have excellent interpersonal skills. During my employment at three Universities, I have assumed roles of leadership as a technology innovator. I have a broad range of computer skills with experience using Windows, OSX, iOS and Android platforms. I have used and supported Blackboard, Moodle and Canvas to deliver course material at the university and secondary levels. Over my career as a media producer, I've acquired excellent audio recording skills; photography skills in both still and motion mediums, have become an experienced aerial photographer using professional drone equipment and have demonstrated digital media production expertise. I'm a lifelong learner and have enjoyed my role as an effective educator.
