Initially starting role as Application specialist within the deployment team, I was added to the Guernsey implementation for TrakCare. My previous experience of HL7 and interfaces ensured that I was used in this area to assist the implementation of their connected interfaces from the Apps perspective. Working closely with the Tech team at the time and gaining more and more understanding of the linkages within TrakCare and Ensemble.I transferred to the newly formed Integration team in January 2010 and into the Technical Specialist role, responsible for developing and deploying interfaces into the Channel Islands projects. I have since moved on to the Product Support team and focus on Interfaces and the internal Change Control system (known as CCR). I am ITIL trained and certified.

Within this role I was involved with the Connecting For Health project within the NHS. I was involved with Trusts in the three clusters operated by CSC. I was responsible for interfacing to the CSC Reference solutions which include PAS, Clinical’s, Theatres, RIS, PACS and Maternity.

I was involved in the Proof of Solution for LE2.2 deployments which included configuration, integration and testing, which included witness testing by CfH. This project also included visits to Chennai to receive fixes from development and to establish a relationship with the developers to ensure all requirements were met and fully understood.

I was with Burns e-Commerce Solutions, a small family run business of less than 75 people. During this time I held a number of positions and was promoted on merit each time, from Integration and Training Engineer to Product Specialist, Technical Product Consultant and onto my final position of Supplier Implementation Consultant
