I am currently a detective with the Major Crimes - Burglary Unit. Responsible for investigating residential burglaries and major thefts. Previously assigned to the Property Crimes - Fraud & Forgery Unit.Served as a patrol officer for 18 years, working the NE area of Columbus. Responsible for responding to calls for service, investigating criminal complaints, neighbor disputes, accidents and generating necessary documentation. Directly involved in the arrest and prosecution process of traffic and criminal offenders.While in patrol, I was a Field Training Officer (FTO), training and evaluating new officers who had recently graduated from the police academy. I was also a member of Crisis Intervention Team (CIT), trained to provide assistance to individuals with mental health issues.

Planned, organized, promoted and conducted recreational activities at various community recreation centers. Coordinated and conducted competitive activities and special events. Maintained records and prepared participation reports. Assisted in scheduling and management of part-time employees.

Linebacker position coach. Also involved in recruiting and scouting process.
