Current$1.76B revenue company, comprised of three business segments, Industrial Technologies, Memorialization and Brand Solutions.In this role, I provide technical direction and mentoring for server/storage group following promotion due to company restructuring. Leverage technical knowledge to oversee server and storage infrastructure, migrations, and consolidations while deploying business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Identify company needs to define policies and procedures and control purchasing of server/storage products. Contribute to the team’s professional development by transferring technical knowledge.Highlights of accomplishments in this role include:• Worked with a leading team of specialist globally responsible for 3500+ servers. • Deployed vRealize Operations Manager platform globally, allowing centralized view and reporting of all infrastructures.• Directed global deployment of 130 Nutanix Hyperconverged nodes in 28 clusters, accounting for 30% of organizational infrastructure; modernized, centralized, and simplified infrastructure computing. • Researched, identified, and replaced suitable license models, generating $500K cost savings; minimized VMware and Veeam license costs by capitalizing on flexible licensing models and drastically reducing the number of Socket-based Licenses.Position / Title: System Administrator (2010 to 2017)During this tenure, I executed virtualization and disaster recovery backups to manage server storage builds, architecture, documentation, and deployments. Troubleshoot server and storage issues to ensure seamless operations. Tracked and deployed equipment, hardware, and software upgrades, guaranteeing functionality and eliminating potential errors.Highlights of accomplishments in this role include:• Planned and led onboarding standardization across company divisions following company restructure. • Minimized overall risks by upgrading legacy systems to modern and stabilized ones.
