SANMINA-SCI Guadalajara– Test Engineering Manager• As Test Engineering Manager, I am responsible to administrative, 24 SMT production lines, 18 Backend lines, with 18 differences end customers. The plant have 2 buildings. All the Test Engineers needed to install, develop and support all the Test Equipment, include In Circuit Testers, Functional Testers, Temperature Chambers, Xray 5DX and Dage, Diagnostic and Repair Areas also are part of my responsibility.• Leading a 320 to 110 team employees to fulfill customer`s test requirements.• Support Hi -Tech products Medical Assembly with ISO13485 standards.• Support and experience in the Fiber Optical Transmission products with SONET SDH and OC92.• Coordinate develop strategy in the Automotive Valeo & Osram products, based in the VXI and PXI Technology.• Implement Test Metrics System reviewed in a weekly basis by Staff Management (Maintenance, NDF, Availability, MTTR, MTTA, etc.• Flying Probe Takaya test strategy to the LVHM customers.• Coordinate the Failure Analisys to level component, support and team work with SQE.

• Responsible of 6 customers and 150 + Million Dollar Annual Revenue projects I’m in charge of 20 current Product Consumer Electronics, RF & Data Comunications and Automotive• All the test equipment ICT, Functional, Final, OOBA, ALT, Thermotron, 5DX, AOI.• Increase Customer satisfaction and bring over new Projects, handling successfully 16 NPI´s with excellent results, keeping a very good relationship with Customer.• Goal Test Metrics: Less of 2 % of Test equipment Downtime, False Failure rate under 3% in the consumer electronics products and 1 % in the Automotive products. • Increase TPY from 90 % to 95 %, Improve Reduce Test Cycle Time. • Leading a 250 persons from differents areas ( Test support, Diagnostic Technicians, Repair Line & BGA, IT Support.• Coordinate and management the FA technician to level component ( Delphi, Motorola RF, Boxes )• Start the First Customer Focus Team, major achievements in this position : Facility Installations and Equipment, Hire new personnel and train them. • Goal sales begin from 20 M Year to 100 M Year.• Always in focus to reduce Test equipment Downtime, False Failure and increase TPY. • Too many projects transferred in the Solectron WW. • Implement a stop line system procedure in 3 shifts due 3 failures with same failure mode and 5 with different failure mode, using a Concentration Defect Diagram, very effective in the real time feedback.• Participate in a 11 Solectron WWTech in Solectron Brasil, in preparation of Common Solectron way.

• New Operations were started at Guadalajara facilitie, setting up all Test Equipment and SMT equipment, radial inserter and sequencer all of them Universal machines.• Responsible to bring New Products and develop all test programs.• Excellent relationships with Test and Instruments supplier, Calibration program and Preventive Maintenance calendar.• Provide extensive test support to a lot of programs transferred from our Headquarters and different plants in USA.

• Responsible for Dell Project at SCI Guadalajara.• Test Installation and support PCA’S level in ICT and Functional Testers.• Implement a Service Preventive Maintenance• Develop all Test Procedures and Calibration documents.• Maintain complete spare parts to avoid down time.• Implement ECOs to hardware and software modifications.

• Responsible for Diagnostic and Repair all the PCAs, based in the Intel Microprocessor 80186, 80286 and 80386 Eight, Sixteen and Thirty two data bits.• Responsible to detect root cause as Failure Analisys Technician, report and sent each customer ( Always documented to request ECN )• Responsible to develop Functional testers to Incoming Inspection area, document each measurement routine and follow up the failures with component suppliers.• Develop test process to the first PC XT by Unisys turbo speed from 3.7 Mhz to 7.14 Mhz.• Develop BurnIn test for all the box assembly.
