Daily manager of the AIDSnet Secretariat and Network with the following main responsibilities:a) Support the 23 member organisations in sharing lessons learned from HIV/AIDS research and development interventions primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa;b) Support member activities originating from permanent working groups on three different thematic issues;c) Design and coordinate capacity building interventions such as seminars and training courses;d) Coordinate and contribute to the elaboration of quarterly newsletters and regular info-flashes for the member organisations and their partner organisations.

The position in IBIS Mozambique included the following main responsibilities:a) Overall management responsibility in the absence of the Regional Director;b) Design and fundraising for new programmes and projects;c) Elaboration and introduction of internal M&E model;d) Participate in setting-up the Alliance 2015 joint HIV/AIDS project activities in Mozambique;e) Human Resource Management responsibilities including recruiting.IBIS has worked in Mozambique since 1976 and implements a comprehensive development programme with an annual turnover (2005) of approx. As a development advisor on advocacy and organisational development contracted by IBIS, I sup-ported the LINK secretariat as well as the approximately 200 LINK member organisations placed around the country. Main tasks included:a) Working with the concept of advocacy, design and implementation of advocacy campaigns in particular in preparation for Mozambican Civil Society participation in the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development;b) Strategic planning and implementation of activities aimed at organisational development and capacity building of the civil society forum in each of the 10 Mozambican provinces;c) Networking between civil society organisations at national and international levels.

Student assistant with the main tasks of:a) Research and writing of articles on technology transfer and B2B-initiatives for the Newsletter;b) Design, analysis and reporting of user satisfaction survey amongst the recipients of the Newsletter.

As a development and environmental technical assistant, I was responsible for:a) Investigating and elaborating recommendations on strategies to improve the communication and collaboration between twinning city representatives based in León and the Dept. for International Cooperation; b) Investigating and elaborating recommendations for an improved management communication within the “León Little River Environmental Project”.

Daily manager of the settlement of bond trade in the Scandinavian Securities Settlement Department. In charge of the department and its 12 employees with overall responsibility for settlement clearing and realignment of bond and financial positions on a daily basis.
