Supported competition development of the V-280 Valor 3rd generation tiltrotor STOL/VTOL rotorcraft for the U.S. Army Future Long Range Air Assault (FLRAA) program as part of Future Vertical Lift (FVL). Supported generation of aircraft-level AFHA, and performed subsystem-level functional hazard assessment (SFHA) and preliminary system safety assessment (PSSA) analyses on landing gear subsystem. Created and developed Design Assessments for Rotors System and Drive System, in support of V-280 blended civil and military system safety methodology, combining SAE ARP4761/4754 and MIL-STD-882 guidelines and practices.The Bell team ultimately won the FLRAA development contract award from the U.S. Army in Q4 2022.

Evaluated mission system design robustness through reliability, operational availability, and failure mode effects & criticality (FMECA) analyses. Identified and evaluated failure modes and assessed risk criticality and acceptability through functional hazard analysis, system safety assessment, and fault tree analyes. Recipient of the L3Harris RISE Award.Performed and delivered foundational System Safety analyses, Reliability predictions, and provided design input to support development of the L3Harris/Air Tractor AT-802U Sky Warden aircraft, which ultimately received contract award for the USSOCOM Armed Overwatch program in Q3 2022.Performed prediction models of aircraft-level mean time between critical failure (MTBCF) and maintenance-free operating period (MFOP) in support of AVX/L3Harris US Army Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA) competition prototype development.
