I bring great ideas into reality, from big vision to live operation. I do my best to lead by example and communicate purpose, plan, and performance to all stakeholders. I have experienced every stage of corporate lifecycle, both professionally and in my nonprofit work: grassroots startup, rapid growth, maturity, and even decline and divestiture. I believe that strong vision, clarity of understanding, and transparency are required for most effective executive leadership, and these are some of my gifts.Professionally, I strive to apply my knowledge of geoscience and technology to make meaningful contributions to the exploration, evaluation, and extraction of Earth’s natural resources, while maintaining the highest ethical and environmental standards. In personal life, I am strongly driven to help volunteer and nonprofit organizations with my leadership skills and unique fundraising strategies. I completed a B.S. in Geology and Environmental geoscience (dual major) at Texas A&M University in 2008, and then an M.S. in Geology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 2012. My thesis project included significant field work in Ethiopia. I then completed additional Ph.D. coursework at SMU until deciding to pursue a career in industry in lieu of continuing the academic path.
