Built a $3 million consulting business with 17 employees, 40 clients in 12 states, and 26 subcontractors.

Managed a project to evaluate Microsoft Azure as a suitable public/private cloud environment to compete with AWS. Inventory of 390 microservices spanning 48 applications evaluated for tight coupling with AWS, and remediation steps identified and implemented. Created the ability to leverage two competing public/private cloud providers simultaneously, minimizing vendor lock-in.

Managed the migration and/or deprecation of 179 applications out of an OpenStack data center. After the merger with Time Warner Cable and Brighthouse Networks, Charter management decided to consolidate multiple data centers and cloud-based environments, and one facet of this consolidation was to eliminate an entire OpenStack-based data center while moving all resident applications to new homes in other remaining data centers or the cloud.

While reporting to the VP of Software Engineering/DevOps, managed data migration and validation relating to mergers and acquisitions, as well as internal software development in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Achieved a 25% cost reduction in AWS through right-sizing and careful grooming of service consumption.

Provided maintenance and customization support for the corporate Epicor ERP system during a management transition phase.
