As a Policy Analyst at Alberta Milk, I apply my MSc. degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics and my years of experience in research, reporting, and economic analysis to assist in the development and evaluation of dairy policy options. I analyze existing and proposed policies from an economic perspective and assess the potential impacts on Alberta's dairy industry and the Western Milk Pool.I also communicate policy information to producers and Alberta Milk staff through meetings, discussion papers, and contributions to regular publications such as our newsletter. I use multiple statistical software applications such as SAS, Stata, R, PowerBI, Tableau and Excel to source, extract, and analyze data using both qualitative and quantitative methods. I provide interpretation and recommendations for decision making based on my findings. I possess strong planning, organization, leadership and monitoring skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. I am an excellent leader and team player and I exhibit high standards of professionalism and customer service. I am passionate about Business Intelligence and Data Analytics and I aim to support the sustainability and growth of the dairy sector in Canada and beyond.
