• Perform beadpeen and shotpeen operations on turbine blade airfoil and turbine blade root components respectively • Carry out operation in compliance with the Pratt and Whitney operation sketches and work instructions to accurately peen the parts using strict controls for uniformity and repeatability• Control coverage of areas to be peened and evaluate surfaces after peening operation to verify complete coverage and to verify absence of defects such as pitting and undercut• Perform testing using the Almen strip test to verify intensity of the shotpeen and beadpeen operation• Ensuring the effectivity of the peening machine by performing regular maintenance checks on gun position and jig rotation • Assisting engineers in carrying out continuous improvement projects • Experience on High Pressure Compressors for Pratt & Whitney PW2000, PW4000 and IAE V2500 engine models

• Perform Dayton furnace, vacuum furnace & IVA operations on components• Cleaning of O-rings, changing of thermocouple and cleaning of retorts for the machines in accordance to the required cycle run• Monitoring the machines’ cycle charts during its run to ensure parameters of the process are within desired limits • Perform ultrasonic cleaning on components for removal of dirt and debris• Perform surface preparation (application of stop off) and blasting (removal of stop off) on components before and after IVA process respectively• Perform brazing operation on engine components• Preparing the braze mixture according to the component being worked on• Perform in-process inspection on all processes to ensure quality ofcomponents comply with the Rolls Royce Engine Manualrequirements• Maintain and ensure all equipment, tooling and gauges are calibratedand in working condition • Experience on Nozzle Guide Vanes and High & Intermediate Pressure Compressors for Rolls Royce Trent 500, 700, 800 and 900 engine models
