In my role as a Senior Auditor, I complete complex audits across predominately public sector clients and have had exposure to charities and corporate organisations. High quality audit reports are produced on a weekly basis by set deadlines to meet client SLAs. Being a Data Analytics Power User as part of the national Data Analytics Team, I perform detailed data analytics testing using CaseWare IDEA and Alteryx with results presented within unique data dashboards. Key tests performed across various public sector and corporate organisations exceeding more than 65 audits include the application of Benfords Law, identification of duplicate invoices paid, matching of datasets to identify ghost employees, and data validity and consistency checks.

As an Internal Auditor studying towards the CIA qualification, I am responsible for delivering audit reviews within strict timeframes across a wide range of clients. This includes identifying and assessing controls as well as determining root causes of control weaknesses. Furthermore, as an IDEA data analytics user, I review large amounts of data to identify exceptions or trends. Doing so, I am able to provide greater levels of assurance and stronger audit conclusions to ultimately support decision making at the highest level within organisations.

Dawsonrentals Temperature Control Solutions is a part of the UK’s leading specialist asset rental company, Dawsongroup PLC, which is viewed as a hybrid offering services such as project management and rental operations. Dawsonrentals TCS supplies temperature control solutions to a variety of business sectors from food storage companies to pharmaceutical giants such as GSK.My role as a Performance Analyst consists of a variety of tasks such as the daily breakdown analysis of assets across the UK to the contribution of the construction of budgeted revenue for DR TCS UK and Ireland.One of my main duties is the preparation of the Key Performance Indicators for TCS on a monthly basis, which requires clear communication between myself and colleagues in the Sutton-in-Ashfield base. This analysis of the company’s performance is then compared to the pervious 12 months on a rolling basis and is discussed in management meetings. Due to the nature of TCS, assets return to our base in Sutton- in- Ashfield for repairs or the preparation for the assets to go out to new customers both of which require labour hours. I produce a report displaying the amount of hours that have been worked on the units compared to the estimated hours. Working as a Sales Consultant, I was continuously required to use my initiative and communicate effectively with members of staff at all times whilst providing a high level of customer service. Whilst working at Next, I was elected to be the Team voice Representative. This consisted of interacting with all members of staff, informing them of new changes being made to the store as well as reporting issue they had to the store manager.
