- Technical production and final assembly of live and recorded NPR programs, such as Morning Edition, Ted Radio Hour, Life Kit, etc.- Master control duties- Restore and remaster audio for broadcast programs and podcasts - Training and technical assistance for NPR staff

- Using iZotope RX5 to identify and fix bad audio files with issues such as hisses, hums, clipping, plosives, etc.- Assist with Tiny Desk concerts: routing cables, set up and tear down, and microphone placement- Follow detailed instructions from a script to edit and layup audio pieces- Test a variety of recorders to help guide the decision on which to use as the standard audio tool for reporters on the go at NPR- Assist colleagues in using specific audio equipment, and advise on good recording practices

- Ran live audio for in-studio show "Off The Record" - Audio assistant for university-related meetings and recordings.- Set up and tear down for live performances at the WKAR studios.- Ran live audio for in-studio musical performances.- Accompanied producers on EFP shoots to record audio.- Identified errors in the monthly program guide.- Transported materials from WKAR to the appropriate location

- Help record/edit radio/TV spots- Find music pieces that appropriately fit the TV/radio spot that is being worked on- Use Pro Tools, plug-ins, sound effects, and audio mixing - Complete a variety of audio projects for marketing purposes- Cut/edit vocal tracks in preparation for broadcast- On-site and in-studio audio recording- On-site audio set-up and take-down- Craft sound design for video projects sought out by clients- Search various music libraries to find music/sounds that match the client’s request- Edit, mix, and master sound projects using Pro Tools- Receive feedback and make audio adjustments as needed by clients’ requests- Record voice actors using ISDN lines

- Check in all students using the studios.- Troubleshoot any issues the equipment in the studios may have.- Answer questions/help students with audio-related assignments.
