But whilst there might be more problems, what you really want to avoid is bigger problems.I’ve spent 22 years working with employers to help them create great places to work, and the last 8 of those creating one of those places myself. I know what it takes.After working in a large law firm for over 10 years, it was time for change. A change that led to a country location, a new house and a new employer. Myself. From the beginning I was driven to create the law firm I wanted to work in. Where employees are valued and work flexibly, have access to exceptional clients and work, and the focus is on providing preventative legal solutions not on billable hours. 3D HR Legal provides business leaders and their teams with training and legal services to not only comply with employment and safety laws, but to help employers and employees work together in a partnership where everybody wins. No more sleepless nights. Just more positive, productive relationships. On the day to day that work includes:- Creating fundamental workplace documents like employment contracts and policies/procedures;- Training teams on appropriate behaviours at work;- Upskilling managers with skills to create effective workplace relationships;- Providing advice on challenging decisions such as restructures, performance management, hiring and firing; and- Defending legal claims like unfair dismissals or adverse action claims.With a goal of reaching a wider audience – there are only so many clients we can help at any time – in 2021 I published the book “Homeforce – Building connected and engaged home-based teams”, which includes a 6 step process for building a remote/hybrid team based on my own personal experiences of managing a fully remote team and those of my clients. I’ve also co-hosted The Juggle Podcast (over 100 episodes and 70,000 downloads) to inspire and educate women and business owners on how to have satisfying work and a fulfilling family life. I now divide my time between delivering inspiring presentations on the future workplace, facilitating practical workshops on topics such as managing workplace behaviours and management skills, 1:1 coaching, and mentoring my team.Whilst located in Perth and Bunbury, our clients range from Broome to Brisbane to Melbourne and lots of regional places in between.
