Senior internship in college as a museum illustrator at Carnegie Museum's Meridian Research Center for the Department of Man and the Taxidermy Departments of Carnegie Museum, working under Drs. Thomas and Shelia Pozorski and Dr. Otto Epping. Experience as on-site archeological illustrator on the Pampas de las Llamas de Moxeke archeological site in Ancash, Peru, under Drs. Thomas and Shelia Pozorski of Pan American University in 1987. Artwork was published in the New York Times' Science Times Section, U.S. News and World Report, Journal of Field Archeology, Latin American Antiquity, and Pan American University's Rio Magazine. Volunteer experience working with the Penn State Extension Service in organizing the Equine Symposium of Western Pennsylvania in the 1980s , serving as their art chairman, organizing their art show competition and providing artwork and banners.Started a freelance art business, Mighty Oaks Arts, in 1984 concentrating on equine, wildlife, and nature illustration. Have a line of notecards from original art. Have done commissions and logo designs for equine an canine clientele.
