In my role as FINOP reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, I managed, prepared and reported all financial activities for CBISFS including regulatory filings to FINRA, SIPC and the SEC. In order to meet this investment objective, the company hires institutional investment firms to manage or sub-advise its portfolios. As Senior Accountant reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, I was responsible for the management, preparation and reporting of the company’s finances to the management team and board of directors. I was privileged to spearhead the implementation of a budgeting and forecasting tool customized to handle complex revenue calculations for portfolios and funds thereby eliminating inefficiencies and improving the process by more than 75%.
