Acumen Academy is the world's school for social change, with more than 1.2million signups from 193 countries. We enable social innovators to build a more just, inclusive and sustainable world. I co-lead Acumen Academy. I am responsible for the curriculum, marketing, data & tech for our online courses and I oversee central operations for our global Accelerator and Fellowship programs. I love working with an awesome and diverse team that spans US, UK, Nigeria, Colombia, Pakistan, India, East and West Africa, and Southeast Asia.

Lead the +Acumen team, including Acumen's sector-leading MOOC, which I built from scratch and reached more than 300,000 people in 193 countries. I owned all aspects of +Acumen’s success: revenues, team development, curriculum operations, and marketing.

Acumen was my pivot to the social sector. I was brought on with a rather strange title and a vague job description. On a day-to-day basis, I helped to manage Acumen website and grow online fundraising 2x. My broader mandate was to to find ways to create a step change in terms of awareness, excitement and membership in Acumen’s community of supporters and advocates who believe that markets and entrepreneurship play a central in the global fight on poverty. Through many failed experiments, I eventually created +Acumen, which has been rebranded Acumen Academy.

Time for some line responsibilities and lots of great learning by doing. I built a marketing analytics team and developed new marketing strategies for a $1 billion apparel distributor in Pennsylvania. Saw first hand the importance of cultivating great people, building strong cultures and the value of brands.

What a great way to get introduced to the world of business! I worked on projects for Fortunte 500 companies in the financial services and pharmaceutical sectors. I had the opportunity to be based out of Marakon's Singapore and New York offices.

Worked on the Money Markets team at MAS. An amazing first job. Helped to support the execution of Singapore exchange rate policy and the smooth functioning of Singapore's money markets. Was involved in supporting the research and development of policies relating to the growing the Singapore government bond market, and specifically saw the extension of the government securities yield curve.
