Our appetite for eating out has never been so great, but how much do we really know about the food we’re eating or the tricks used to bring us to the table? "Tricks Of The Restaurant Trade" was a mischievous, investigative series, with access to some of the World’s biggest brands and undercover filming of many others. It delivered journalistic insight into some of the truths the rapidly expanding restaurant business would prefer we didn’t know.

"Junior Doctors - Your Life In Their Hands" - I produced the first and second series of this award-winning documentary series for BBC3. It was based at the Newcastle Royal Infirmary (Series 1) and the "Chelsea and Westminster Hospital"(series 2) . The series covered the junior doctors first six weeks on the wards both at work and living together at home. Your first ever job is always going to feel daunting but when you're dealing with life and death, the stakes are much higher. The shows attained the highest ratings ever for any strand on BBC3 and programmes were re-broadcast on BBC1 with a "special" commissioned for BBC1.

I series produced the BAFTA nominated campaigning ob doc series "Blood Sweat and Takeaways" broadcast on BBC3. A group of young British consumers travelled to Indonesia and Thailand to work in factories and on farms, producing food for British takeaways and high-street supermarkets . From the fishing boats and tuna factories of Sulawesi to the prawn farms of Kalamantan and then onto the padi fields of Thailand and abattoirs in Bangkok, the series showed us what it takes to produce the fast food we take for granted.
