In 2011, I planned all raw material requirements for the Orthopedics group. This included - ensure customer demand is met, eliminate machine down-time, correct stock errors, make bin locations and create cycle counting system. In 2012 as part of the scheduling team, my function was to plan and coordinate all deliveries for a special customer(X-spine). The customer deliveries were constantly late and over budget. I established a master schedule to ensure proper stock levels. This was accomplished by communicating directly with the customer and all departments' levels on forecasts and deliveries. The customer now has the stock they require on their shelves. In 2013, my next task was to correct and maintain the finished goods inventory; this involved creating an inventory tagging system, inventory locations and performing cycle counts. To assist the Quality department, I provided documentation analysis to ensure that the product shipping to the customer is correct and meets FDA standards for medical devices. In 2018, I was transferred to a new building to help with the processing of raw materials. We were struggling getting outsourced grind material for several projects' campus wide. To correct the situation:A) Created schedules for all the product lines that utilize the outsourced grind material. B) Contacted our grind material supplier for cycle times. C) Worked with the Group Leader and Technical Coordinator on our job cycle times and performance levels. This combined information allowed me to create proper inventory jobs for our supplier. We now receive correct amount of material on-time, and our machines keep running so we can support our customers. Show less
