I am a fully qualified Chartered Surveyor who has been working in the property industry since 1989. 30 years of my working career have been spent in the Property Fund Management sector of the financial services industry working within a number of respected Fund management houses including Legal and General, Gartmore and KBC Asset Management.In 2010, I became a founding Director of Lothbury Investment Management (LIM) following a management buyout of the business from KBC Asset Management. I was heavily involved in the exponential growth in size of the LIM’s flagship fund, Lothbury Property Trust, from a fund of £550m in 2010 to £1.7 billion in 2018. I was then involved of the successful sale of the LIM business to Nomura Real Estate Holdings in 2018. I have been an Executive board member at Lothbury Investment Management since its inception and also have significant charitable trustee experience . Collectively, my experience has helped me attain a good knowledge of corporate governance and oversight of business strategy. I believe in the highest standards of business ethics and have been an approved person on the FCA register since 2010.I retired from my Executive Director role at LIM in September 2023 (although remained as a Senior Adviser to the business until February 2024). Moving forward, I am looking forward to exploring other advisory or non-executive positions in both the charitable and corporate sectors.
