As a small business, the 3 partners are entirely responsible for all aspects of running the business. We are all involved in stock selection and forward ordering, including forward buying and the associated strategic planning and budgeting. I am also responsible for our website, marketing and social media, staffing and line management, all admin, book keeping and payroll. I also deal with customers, assisting, guiding and advising and also dealing with complaints and grievances.

Analysing particular companies' use of British Airways and assisting Account Managers in designing appropriate global corporate packages to gain new contracts.

Recruited on a graduate training programme, to become a Business Analyst. I received extensive training and undertook practical projects in translating business needs into IT requirements. This involved liaising with various departments, understanding practical operational necessities and difficulties and IT possibilities and limitations. I had to make use of analytical skills, negotiation and diplomacy skills and good communications skills were essential.
