Working closely with the Liverpool Business School and the School of Law at Liverpool John Moores University, my role is to encourage organisations and individuals to engage with the university curriculum as part of the World of Work (WoW) programme.

The main function of the Head of Operations role was to lead and manage the Commercial and International Directorate's Operation Team to provide commercial risk mitigation and operations support for the activities of the Directorate and the wider University, minimising the University's exposure to risk whilst ensuring sustainable revenue generation and maximising Return on Investment.The role required the management of a diverse team whilst at the same time managing the operational performance of a large multi-disciplinary Directorate. Duties included budgetary control, resource management, development of appropriate policy and process (including international student recruitment, contract management, information management), management of projects and business creation against business plans and departmental project plans, key account management of senior national and international contacts and representing the Director and Pro-VC at events and meetings where required.
