As an Area Sales Manager, I promote the company, products and services, to the specification market place on a day to day basis. Calling on Architects, Designers, Contractors and similar business types to achieve strong and long term working relationships, resulting in profitable business opportunities and repeat sales.My key accountabilities are as follows:· To meet and exceed sales targets, KPI’s and objectives, delivering the required profitmargins.· To promote The Company, products and services, directly or via social media.· To direct Sales Support and relevant departments in the handling of enquiries.· To act as an intermediary between our market place and the company.· To be proactive in servicing your customer base: new, prospective and existing.· To present relevant materials for specific projects or promotional purposes.· To prepare specific reports including Pipeline and Forecast.· To negotiate contracts and deliver profitable sales.· To establish customer requirements and respond to their specific requests.· To communicate such information to the relevant department.· To attend Sales and other meetings, networking and promotional events at variouslocations.· To assist in the resolution of problems.
